Shrub Roses

Shrub roses as a group include some of the finest roses for the larger garden. They can make big plants which need little attention having good natural shape and are excellent for use as spectacular flowering shrubs. Most are free flowering and either flower continuously or repeat usually with good fragrance. Many of the classic rose varieties fall into this group some of which have other garden worthy features - decorative hips which hang onto the plant during the winter, interesting leaves and spectacular thorns.
